Counseling psychology focuses on how people function both personally and in their relationships at all ages. Time for Healing Inc address the emotional, social, work, school and physical health concerns people may have at different stages in their lives, focusing on typical life stresses and more severe issues with which people may struggle as individuals and as a part of families, groups, and organizations. We use talk-therapy that follows the same guidelines as Counseling psychology. We do not diagnose individuals with mental disorders. We help people with physical, emotional and mental health issues and improve their sense of well-being, alleviate feelings of distress and resolve crises. We are knowledgeable in developmental psychology, personality theory, and psychopathology, group and organizational dynamics, ecological psychology, communication theory, models of family functioning, methods and models of couple and family therapy, and methods of family research.

What Is Psychotherapy?
Psychotherapy is a collaborative treatment based on the relationship between an individual and a professional. Grounded in dialogue, it provides a supportive environment that allows you to take openly with someone who's objective, neutral and nonjudgmental. You and your coach will work together to identify and change the thought and behavior patterns that are keeping you from feeling your best. By the time you're done, you will not only have solved the problem, but you will have learned new skills so you can better cope with whatever challenges arise in the future.
